You’ll recall last month we spoke with former New York Governor David Paterson about his latest work in radio, including fill-in hosting at WFAN.

Now, it’s the current New Jersey governor’s opportunity. Governor Chris Christie will co-host Friday’s Boomer and Carton morning show at WFAN in Manhattan.

Christie will sit in for Boomer (Esiason) from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. as he joins Craig Carton. The governor is no stranger to the program, having frequently called in to the show in the past. 

The top-rated sports radio station in the nation, Boomer & Carton consistently rank number one in the station’s target demographic of Men 25-54, according to Arbitron.  The show is also simulcast each morning on the MSG Network.
