Holy cow, I think he's gonna make it
We've been excited for Deadspin since we first announced it back on June 1st, because we're big fans of the literary stylings of one Will Leitch, who's had his bat out and at the ready for the months while this thing got prepped to launch. Finally, today, he hits it outta the park and here's why: he's been doing this for four months, has an archive loaded with posts, and knows his stuff like a seasoned pro. He has, quite literally, undergone spring training. Plus he likes Canadians. Touchdown! We don't pretend to know much about sports; well, yes, clearly we do. But either way we're glad to see Deadspin actually spin to life, and we're glad to see the talents of the fine Mr. Leitch come off the bench and into the starting lineup. By the way, yes we are clearly friends with Will Leitch, fine, you got us; but mere friendship does not a sports fan make. If you think I'm joking ask my former roommate, he genuinely enjoyed watching curling. Take a look and lemme know whatcha think, playa. Don't worry, you don't have to do it right now; I'll letcha sleep on it, and give me an answer in the morning. Email This Post |
