News Corp. Will Acquire Shine Group for $673 Million
The Murdoch Family Reunion came one step closer to becoming a reality today with News Corp confirming its plans to purchase Shine Group, the TV production company owned by Elisabeth Murdoch, for $673 million.
The acqusition means Murdoch will once again be working with her father, Rupert Murdoch, at News Corp. She’s expected to join the company’s board when the deal is completed.
