News Corporation to Pay Joel Klein $2 Million
When FishbowlNY last checked in with Joel Klein, he was being tagged by Rupert Murdoch to oversee News Corp’s education technology investment. Now that he’s officially a board member and CEO of the company’s education division, we can tell you what he’s getting for his troubles: a base salary of $2 million, along with a $1 million signing bonus.
He’s also getting something called a “car allowance” of $1,200 per month. That’s an awful lot of Hot Wheels.
