NYT Launches My Times; Reporters' Reading Habits Revealed![]() It looks like the New York Times have finally launched their new My Times service. In Times PR-speak, it "provides readers with the ability to personalize their Web experience on NYTimes.com by organizing sources from all over the Web; receiving recommendations from Times journalists for their favorite sources of news and entertainment; and adding various widgets to their pages." What it really is is a pretty decent stab at creating a My Yahoo!/iGoogle-like homepage for their users. But what we really care about is that it allows users to browse Times' writers favorite blog feeds. David Carr is a big fan of we make money not art, Tcritic and Gawker. Adam Nagourney is more of a Pitchfork, New York Review of Books and Huffington Post kinda guy (Nagoruney the indie rocker? Who knew). As for Nicholas Kristof, it appears he prefers the Borowitz Report to The Onion and that he indulges his religious side with the occasional visit to Beliefnet. Thus ends our Times reporter voyeurism for the day. My Times press release after the jump. Press Release
