NFL Wild Card Action Takes Top Slots in Weekly Ratings
Despite the Giants playing in the early game Sunday, Wild Card action still took the top two positions for the week. Pittsburgh vs. Denver was number one, according to Nielsen, with an estimated 2.2 million WCBS/Channel viewers and an 11.6 rating.
The second-half of NBC’s playoff doubleheader Saturday was number two (1.7 million/8.9) between Detroit and New Orleans. NBC’s 30-minute bridge between games had a fourth-place finish (1.3 million/6.9). NBC did not make another appearance in the Top 30.
60 Minutes had another typically strong showing with a number three (1.3 million/7.1).
ABC’s Modern Family was fifth (1.2 million/6.4), while NCIS was number six for week on CBS (1 million/5.1).

- Eighth Two Broke Girls WCBS (933,000/4.8)
- Ninth How I Met Your Mother WCBS (907,000/4.6)
- Tenth Grey’s Anatomy WABC (861,000/4.4)
WNYW/Channel 5 did not make the survey, but MTV landed at number 11 with Jersey Shore (844,000/4.3).
