No Changes Atop the February PPM Ratings: WLTW Maintains Lead; WCBS-FM is Second

WLTW/Lite FM remains the one to beat in the overall (6+ continuous) February PPM Arbitron ratings. The Clear Channel number one mainstay had a 7.1 (up from 6.8 in January). WCBS-FM kept its usual distance at number two, although the Classic Hits station did edge up to a 5.6.

WHTZ/Z100 maintained number three. But the Clear Channel Contemporary Hit Radio station powered up .6 from the previous month to stand at 5.3.

WKTU, also had a big month, moving up to fourth place with a 4.7.

WINS slipped back to 3.8 (from 4.2 in January), while Citadel’s WABC had no gain for the month at 3.7. Joining WABC at 3.7 was WCBS-AM, which had a down February–losing  .7.

More of the ratings after the jump.

Some other highlights from the February ratings:

Emmis’ Hot 97/WQHT made a .4 jump to 3.3, while CBS’ WXRK (Now FM) and Clear Channel’s Power 105 (WWPR) inched up .3 to 3.2.

Alternative Rocker WRXP had a relatively good month, improving by .1. Last week, ‘RXP announced a lineup change that included swapping morning team Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram for midday jock Steve Craig. The Emmis station, rumored to be up for sale, topped a 2 million cume.

WFAN went backwards, losing .3 to 2.7. But Disney rival ESPN 1050 (WEPN) also dropped back to a 1.2.

Steady as she goes for WBBR/Bloomberg Radio, remaining at a 1.0 for the second straight survey.
