NYPress Gets Sucked Into TV — Just Like James Woods

We’re pleased to note that while the New York Press has again reported a rather obvious trend — TV is, like, everywhere — this time editor Adario Strange was able to work in a few hip media-studies references that take us back to that Marshall McLuhan course we slept through in college. Too bad the piece offers little analysis and relies heavily on recycled bits of news that are familiar to any regular reader of mediabistro’s newsfeed over the past year.

Still, it provides a nice excuse to dig up the trailer from David Cronenberg‘s 1983 classic Videodrome:
