NYT‘s “Op-Ed Soldiers” Killed

0912starspang.JPGTwo of the seven soldiers who penned a prominent op-ed in the New York Times questioning the Iraq war died on Monday, FishbowlNY has learned.

Sgt. Yance T. Gray and Sgt. Omar Mora were among the soldiers killed when their vehicle rolled over while on assignment on the outskirts of Baghdad.

Another of the op-ed’s authors, Staff Sgt. Jeremy Murphy, was shot and critically injured before the article was released.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to all family and friends involved.
