Barack Obama discussed The New Yorker cover debacle on Larry King Live. Some highlights:

  • “I know it was The New Yorker‘s attempt at satire. I don’t think they were entirely successful at it. It’s a cartoon, Larry.”

  • “When you’re running for President for almost two years… you get a pretty thick skin. I’ve seen and heard worse.”

  • King: “How do you fight [the misinformation]?”
    Obama: “By going on Larry King.”
