One Member of the Media REALLY Loves Obama

snl-democratic-texas-debate.jpgAfter months of hearing about how the media has a crush on Obama, one member has decided to take it to the next level. Linda Douglass, former ABC News correspondent and up until yesterday a contributing editor at the National Journal, has just signed on to be a senior advisor to the Barack Obama campaign.

Over at TVNewser she tells columnist Gail Shister that she “saw that this could be a history-making presidency.” But that the transition won’t be without its pitfalls.

Having been a journalist for most of my adult life, I think there’s a line you cross where it’s difficult, if not impossible, to cross back. I realize I’m going through a door that probably won’t be open again. I’m ready for this change.
