Ooh La La! Festival of New French Writing Comes to NYC

FNFW.pngTraditionally speaking France has been a destination for American writers looking for a way out of their homeland in order to write about it. Well next week’s Festival of New French Writing is looking to turn the tables on that — at least for a few days.

The Festival, which runs from February 26-28, will feature 11 major French writers in conversation with American authors. Also, all the events are free! The line-up includes Bernard-Henri Levy, Marjane Satrapi, Chris Ware, E.L. Doctorow, Olivier Rolin, Emmanuel Carrere, Francine Prose, Adam Gopnik, Jean-Philippe Toussaint, Siri Hustvedt, Philip Gourevitch, Chantal Thomas. For further details and a full schedule go here.
