The WSJ's Odd, Odd Xmas Party![]() First, New York's Daily Intelligencer got their hands on the invite to the Wall Street Journal's office Christmas party. So, naturally, New York made a pithy one-liner. But then a WSJ employee replied in the comments: Puh-leeze. WSJ hasn't had a holiday party in years because the old regime decided long ago to give the money that would be spent on one to charity instead. This informal event organized by the people of WSJ.com for the people of WSJ.com was plenty of fun. I had a few beers, some pizza and a good time. Way better than one of those forced, corporate events. Lighten up. I'm glad the haiku author wasn't there. Killjoy. So we're curious.
