Politico Poaches Top WSJ Reporter
Via the Revolving Door:
February 12, 2007: Jeanne Cummings has been named chief lobbying and money correspondent at The Politico. She had been chief money and politics reporter at The Wall Street Journal. (FBDC)
Cummings will direct a new, five-person team “dedicated to covering the lobbying industry and others paid to influence and shape politics and public policy.” Two things: 1. How much money is this Politico throwing around? 2. If you were a WSJ reporter in Washington, why wouldn’t you want to join what is quickly becoming the MTV of D.C.?
