Promotions and Additions to The Fader Announced
Matthew Schnipper has been promoted from Deputy Editor to Editor-in-Chief at The Fader magazine. The music publication also named Amber Bravo as Senior Editor, and Naomi Zeichner as Editor of its website.
Schnipper has been with the magazine since 2007, and during his time there it has received multiple awards. Bravo comes to The Fader as a freelancer for a few magazines, including Dwell. Zeichner was previously a regular contributor to the magazine.
Andy Cohn, Fader Media Executive Vice President and Group Publisher, said of the changes:
It was a natural progression for Matthew to take over as editor-in-chief of The Fader. He is the heart and soul of the publication and has really transformed it editorially over the years that he has been a part of it. With his new position, and the hiring of Amber and Naomi in addition to our entire edit staff, we are in a really great flow.
