Ramin Setoodeh Jumps Ship From Newsweek to People

Newsweek writer Ramin Setoodeh is taking off from the for-sale newsweekly for Time Inc.‘s People, the Observer reports.

Setoodeh stirred some controversy recently for writing a story called “Straight Jacket,” about gay actors playing straight people.

People editor Larry Hackett said to the Observer that he judges prospective hires based on “the totality of their work.”
