Reagan’s Secret Diary – REVEALED!

Reagan.jpgIt turns out that Ronald Reagan was a meticulous notetaker, jotting about his day in a diary virtually every day of his presidency. Now Harper Collins has acquired the global rights to publish the diary. According to Nat Ives in today’s NYT, the rights were sold by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation “for an undisclosed amount.”

In related news, Us Weekly scored the much-ballyhooed pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie vacationing together on a beach in Kenya. After a frenzied bidding war, driving the cost of the photos into the mid-six figures (close, says a source, to a million), Us bought the photos of Pitt, Jolie and her son, Maddox, for an undisclosed amount.

I really, really hope the Reagan diaries cost more.
