Report: National Geographic Loses Publisher Giannetti
MIN is reporting that National Geographic senior vice president and group publisher Steve Giannetti has been let go.
Dawn Drew, vice president of National Geographic Society‘s Global Media Integrated Sales and Sponsorships and executive assistant Leslie Armstrong have also reportedly been cut.
According to the report, the dismissals were a cost-cutting measure.
Claudia Malley, who has been working as vice president and U.S. publisher of the magazine, will be assuming Giannetti’s sales and marketing responsibilities, MIN said.
We have reached out to NGS for comment, but have yet to hear back. If you have any news, send us an email.
