Reporter Ann Mercogliano Jumps Ship From WNBC to WCBS
Ann Mercogliano, who joined WNBC/Channel 4 in 2010 as reporter for New York Live (formerly LX New York ), is headed for WCBS/Channel 2.
Although Mercogliano did focus on entertainment and lifestyle stories for LX, anchored by Jane Hanson and Sara Gore, she occasionally would file harder pieces for the station’s weekend newscasts.
Mercogliano begins at WCBS as a per diem general assignment reporter on August 1. She got her start in the business at Channel 2 as a desk assistant.
