See Alyssa Date Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s Brother?

Evidently blogging for Glamour isn’t doing the trick for Alyssa Shelasky (above, left). Despite chronicling her romantic ups and downs as the magazine’s “resident dating blogger,” she’s still prone to having pals embroil her in the dreaded set-up.

Tomorrow, Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler will take the reins from Alyssa to expound on her marriage (and eventual divorce from) A.J. DiScala: “When I was married, I wasn’t nearly as self-aware or as confident as I am now. I see this with women all the time — we’re always wondering what the guy is thinking, what will make him happy, what he wants.”

But, take heart, ladies — her own failed relationship hasn’t soured Sigler on love, nor has it staunched the accompanying flow of treacly relationship advice:

“Alys, I want you and all your readers to know, the most important thing in finding love is finding happiness inside yourself first. Be confident in who you are. It’s the best place to be for yourself and the man you choose to be yours one day. Speaking of, I’m still dying to set you up with my brother!”

Judging from Shelasky’s recent luck with friends’ brothers, we vote that she dodge this Soprano’s bullet.
