SI Adds Four

Here’s some more Sports Illustrated news for you. The magazine has added four new members to its team. Below are the details.

  • Greg Bedard joins SI as a senior writer. Bedard comes to the magazine from The Boston Globe, where he served as its national NFL columnist. He had been with the Globe since 2009.
  • Neil Janowitz has been named a senior editor at SI.com. Janowitz was most recently a senior editor at Fast Company. Prior to that he spent six years with ESPN the Magazine. 
  • Bradley Smith joins SI from The New York Times. Smith will be SI’s new director of photography. He had been the Times’ senior staff photo editor for the past 12 years.
  • Jenny Vrentas comes to SI from The Newark Star-Ledger. She will serve as a staff writer. Vrentas spent the past five years with the Star-Ledger, most recently serving as its New York Giants beat reporter.
