Stern Hopes Imus Loses Lawsuit

Howard Stern’s radio archnemesis is Don Imus. The shock jock — Stern — took time to pontificate on the pending $4 million lawsuit against Imus as well as the glacial pace of the progress of the XM-Sirius merger. From Marksfriggin:
”Howard read some articles about the XM/SIRIUS merger and how people just want it to go through already. He read one article where they list other mergers and how long they took to go through. The Chevron/Texaco merger went through in less time. There were some other companies like phone companies that went through in much less time.
”Howard said he had another article about an advertiser that’s suing Don Imus over some disparaging remarks he made about their company. Howard said that the guy is *expletive* all over this company and they have every right to sue and he hopes that they win.”
From 1982 to 1985 Howard Stern and Don Imus worked together — contentiously — at the former WNBC.
