Stern Show’s Artie Lange To WGA Picket Tomorrow

onion_imagearticle2327.jpg

Artie Lange of The Howard Stern Show said on the air today that he would be picketing tomorrow on behalf of the WGA writers strike. Tomorrow’s picket line will be at the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle from 10 am to 2 pm. From the press release:

”(Wednesday’s) picket is part of the International Day of Solidarity, declared by The International Affiliation of Writers Guilds. They will be holding demonstrations in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, Great Britain, Mexico, and France.”

Howard Stern joked that he called up Artie’s union and got them to suggest the picket as an elaborate ruse to get Lange to (finally!) exercise.
