Steve Coz Signs On As Editorial Director At Newsmax Media

Once a higher up at AMI, Steve Coz has moved on to oversee the online and print publications at Newsmax Media.  Newsmax has strung together several years of solid growth and, according to founder Christopher Ruddy, the company reached $51 million in revenue last year.  Coz joins Newsmax after five years of managing his own consulting firm, Coz Media.

Coz will be based out of Newsmax’s West Palm Beach, Florida headquarters and enters the company with an impressive reputation to uphold.  While at AMI Coz was regarded by Time magazine as one of the 25 most influential Americans for leading the National Enquirer’s coverage of the O.J. Simpson murder case.  Coz left AMI in 2003 after a falling out with CEO David Pecker and entrance of Bonnie Fuller as new editorial director.
