Solidarity rallies took place in London, Paris, Montreal, Toronto, Sidney, Dublin, Amsterdam, Mexico and in Berlin at the Brandenberg Gate.

According to The Globe and Mail, members of the Writers Guild of Canada expressed solidarity with their American compatriots by chanting “Now they say that they won’t pay, colder here than in L.A.!” and “Hey hey, ho ho, corporate greed has got to go; hey hey, ho ho, hope it doesn’t snow!” in Toronto and Montreal.

Says the BBC:

”Scores of writers rallied outside the Trades Union Congress building, holding red and black placards reading: ‘We support the Writers Guild of America.”’
