Strike Watch: World Wide Pants And WGA Have ”Lively Discussion”

Today’s meeting between the WGA and David Letterman’s production company has been closely watched as to whether it would allow for the return of his late night talk show. Leno and Conan, his late night rivals, have both announced that they will be back in the new year. No suck luck, though, on a quick answer before the holidays regarding Letterman. The WGA issued this statement about the meeting:

”Representatives from Worldwide Pants and the Writers Guild of America, West and the Writers Guild of America, East met today. A lively exchange of information took place. The WGAW and WGAE will not comment further.”
