The Giants rallied and held on for a dramatic victory against the Cowboys in NBC’s Sunday Night Football. As expected, the game took the top spot for the week, according to Nielsen, with an estimated 2.2 million WNBC/Channel 4 viewers and an 11.4 rating.
Gearing up the vital NFC East matchup, the final half-hour of Football Night in America was number two (1.2 million/6.5).
At the same time, WCBS/Channel 2 was winning with a delayed 60 Minutes at number three (1.2 million/6.1).
WABC/Channel 7 had its first appearance in fourth place with Modern Family (1.1 million/6.0).
CBS registered a fifth-place showing with How I Met Your Mother (1 million/5.1) and number six with Two and a Half Men (972,000/5.0).
