They are:

  • Melissa Geurts, deputy design director (formerly with Canadian magazine¬†Chatelaine);
  • Sarah Richardson, home design director (host-producer of multiple HGTV lifestyle series);

Fitness magazine welcomes three new editors to their editorial staff.

Lisa Haney has been named the senior fitness editor. Jenna Autuori is the new fitness editor. April Franzino takes over as associate beauty editor.

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented individuals to the FITNESS staff,” Betty Wong, Editor-in-Chief of FITNESS magazine, said in a statement. “With strong professional backgrounds in their respective areas, they are the embodiment of the FITNESS brand-women who embrace health and wellness as a lifestyle.”

Haney will oversee many of the publication’s health news columns and features. Most recently, she has written for such magazines as Cosmopolitan, Runner’s World, and ReadyMade.

As the new fitness editor, Autuori will work on the fitness news pages and columns and cover gear. Autuori was previously an assistant editor at Shape, where she also worked on Shape Bride.

Franzino joins the magazine after three years as assistant editor at Good Housekeeping, where she wrote beauty feature stories and filmed monthly Good Housekeeping Reports TV segments.
