Reporter Sharon Crowley Added to WWOR On-Air Team

My9/WWOR has hired Sharon Crowley as a general assignment reporter for the My9 News at 11 p.m.

Crowley’s position started immediately and she was already reporting last night.

“We’re pleased to welcome Sharon to My9. Her extensive local news experience makes her an excellent addition to the team,” said Jim Driscoll, WWOR VP and news director.

Crowley arrives in New York following an 11-year stint at the Fox-owned station in Philadelphia. She also was a reporter for the fox affiliate in Atlanta.

“I am honored and excited to be working at WWOR and look forward to giving viewers the inside scoop on what’s going on in New Jersey,” Crowley said in a statement.

Crowley holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University
