Super Model Magazine is a Thing That is Happening

Michael Jacobson, the former publisher of Trump, has a knack for getting behind odd publications. According to the New York Post, Jacobson is launching Super Model magazine, a luxury title dedicated to “the lifestyle of supermodels.” We’re not kidding. Jacobson actually said that.

We honestly have no idea what is included in “the lifestyle of supermodels” (Fancy rice cakes? Telling people you’re a supermodel? Gossiping about Claudia Schiffer?) but here’s Jacobson’s take on what people can expect from Super Model: “I think men will look on it as the new Maxim or a sexy Robb Report.”

A sexy Robb Report! If that means photo spreads of Maybach’s wearing skimpy bikinis, we’re in.

Super Model will debut August 7, with a paid circulation of 400,000. Prepare yourself.

trump_head_2.jpgTrump magazine, the Donald‘s custom quarterly, is on the verge of a financial meltdown, Radar reports. The title “will likely go on hiatus unless Trump or some other backer comes to the rescue with additional financing. ‘Will Donald come in and help reinvigorate it with some personal funds?’”

FishbowlNY tracked down former Trump magazine editorial director Aaron Sigmond — also the co-founder and former editor of Smoke — in Italy, and asked him what the deal was. Here’s his response:

In italy, yet 10 people sent this to me…yes, I’m gone out of PPG, yes I wish MJ [Premiere CEO Michael Jacobson] and PPG [Premiere Publishing Group, which publishes Trump] well. Rest I can not comment on, but one has to assume things don’t appear out of thin air for no reason…

Tall (sic) when back,
