International Creative Management (ICM), through its partnership with New York magazine, has brokered a deal with Sony Pictures TV to option two articles from the magazine; perhaps one day turning them into a TV show or movie.

The New York Observer reports that the two articles are “A Serial Killer in Common,” by Robert Kolker, which details the Long Island serial killer’s victims and their connections,¬†and “Paw Paw & Lady Love,” by Dan Lee, a piece on the tragedy of Anna Nicole Smith.

As you can see, Hollywood loves a sad story.
