WNBC has pulled the plug on the Daily Connection in favor of America’s Court with Judge Ross. The courtroom show begins today on Channel 4, and other NBC Owned Television Stations during the summer. It debuted in several top markets last September.

In the fall, a different show, but same theme takes the weekday 12:30 p.m. slot, as We the People with Gloria Allred premieres.

Daily Connection had been nothing more than a clearing house for NBC lifestyle and health stories (some that aired, some that may not have) using a pair of interchangable WNBC hosts.  There was nothing local to this 30-minute program. (Daily Connection still airs daily on WNBC’s digital platform New York Nonstop at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.)
