Team Behind DealBreaker Takes On Accounting Industry

Breaking Media, the publisher of trade blogs DealBreaker, Above The Law and Fashionista, have launched a new venture, Going Concern, an online tabloid for accountants, CFOs and members of the business finance community.

The company said Going Concern will focus on the “Big Four” accounting firms, smaller accounting firms and chief financial officers from major companies, offering original news and insider analysis. Subject matter will include budgeting and reporting; corporate finance and tax; cost management as a political priority; governance; risk and compliance; and cash management.

Going Concern’s founding editor is Caleb Newquist, a former KPMG auditor and tax accountant and who has blogged about the accounting profession at The 10-Key Tramp since 2008.
