Teen Vogue Hires Shape‘s Feldmann

MinOnline is reporting that Conde Nast has hired Sabine Feldmann as its new associate publisher – advertising at Teen Vogue. Feldmann replaces David Stuckey, who left Teen Vogue for regular Vogue will be reporting to vice president/publisher Laura McEwen. Feldmann has been a vice president, publisher and chief brand officer at American Media‘s Shape since 2009. She joins Teen Vogue is effective April 1.

MinOnline says of the move:

Feldmann’s decision is unusual because not only is she willingly going from first- to second-in-command, but also because Shape’s 1.7 million circulation is sizably larger than Teen Vogue’s 1 million-circ. Plus, McEwen is hiring an executive who does not need much grooming to succeed her.

It may also be worth noting that McEwen only became a vice president at Conde Nast in January 2010.
