The New York Observer Takes From The Daily

The New York Observer has added Hunter Walker to its staff. Walker, a Brooklyn native and graduate of Columbia, was most recently a reporter with The Daily.

“The Observer is an iconic New York media property.” Walker said of the move. “I love the direction the paper has headed under Elizabeth Spiers’s leadership and I’m beyond excited to join the team.”

Walker — once a guppy in the FBNY pond — will begin covering politics for the paper in October.
