The New York Times Renames ‘Week in Review’ Section

FishbowlNY is getting a little tired of covering how The New York Times is revamping its Week in Review section, so we’re sure you’re getting a little tired reading about it. However, it’s the Times, so we have to talk about it. So strap yourself in for some crazy news.

As we mentioned recently, there will be some cosmetic changes to Week in Review, and now it seems even the name is getting an overhaul. The Huffington Post says it will be called “Sunday Review” once it relaunches:

In an interview Monday with The Huffington Post, [Andy] Rosenthal acknowledged that ‘Sunday Review’ is the name on the paper’s latest prototype but still wouldn’t commit to it 100 percent. ‘Everything’s up in the air until it’s out,’ he said. ’That’s what everyone’s calling it,’ Rosenthal added. ‘We have to call it something. We can’t call it the ‘newly re-designed Week in Review.”

That sounds official enough for us. Now if it would just launch already.
