The Sartorialist Inks Condé Nast Deal

Quickly: Beloved fashion blog The Sartorialist just inked a deal with Condé Nast. Starting in September, advertising space on the blog will be sold by CondéNet. CondéNet usually deals with in-house brands like Style.com and Men.Style.com; the deal with a non-Condé site indicates a change in approach.

The advantages for The Sartorialist are obvious: a Web site run on a shoestring can obviously benefit from having advertising sales managed by Condé Nast. Sartorialist founder Scott Schuman isn’t exactly a stranger to Style.com — he has worked for the site since 2005 and is a columnist for GQ.
