The Shorty Awards: It’s Not How Long It Is, It’s How You Phrase It!

shorty.pngWhile we’re on the topic of Twitter, which we seem to be more and more these days, we thought it might be a good time to re-draw your attention to the Shorty Awards (particularly since it appears to be increasingly important to people on our Twitter feed). Here’s the deal: The Shorty Awards have set out to “honor the world’s top Twitterers.” Per the rules you can “nominate as many people for as many categories as you’d like until midnight December 31st.” After which the top five are picked and a final round ensues.

Sound like fun? To be sure, though you should be aware that the people involved are taking this rather seriously. Also, being smart and entertaining in 140 characters or less is actually not that easy, try it if you don’t believe us! In the meantime go vote here.
