The Voice and America’s Got Talent Take WNBC to Top of Weekly Ratings
WNBC/Channel 4 had another strong week, thanks to the one-two punch of The Voice and America’s Got Talent.
Talent was number one, according to the Nielsen Company, with an estimated 747,000 viewers and a 3.7 rating on the Wednesday night show.
The Tuesday night edition tied for third (642,000/3.2).
As for The Voice, the Tuesday night two-hour performance episode was number two (715,000/3.5). The inaugural season of The Voice ended in a third-place tie (650,000/3.2).
The Yankees and Mets battled in the latest Subway Series installment. In a rarity, the Friday night game on the YES Network landed at number 5 (564,000/2.8). Meantime, the telecast on WPIX/Channel 11 grabbed the sixth position (508,000/2.5).

With the altered summer viewing habits, WABC/Channel 7 managed only one Top 30 entry–The Bachelorette at number 14 (419,000/2.1).
