The Wall Street Journal Names Editorial Director for Blogs

Christopher Farley has been named Editorial Director for The Wall Street Journal’s blog network. Talking Biz News reports that Robert Thomson announced the move this morning. Farley was most recently editor of Speakeasy, and prior to that worked on the Marketplace and Weekend sections for the paper.

Thomson said that under Farley’s leadership, Speakeasy – where Farley will continue to contribute – became one of the most popular sections of the Journal’s website.
