GQ Sales Management Team Grows

gq.pngAdvertising pages are down at magazines, so ad sales are more important than ever. With this in mind, GQ is leading the way towards increasing the focus on ad sales through the creation of three new director positions, announced yesterday.

The new positions include two new advertising director roles -- Brendan Monaghan has been named advertising director for luxury while Michael Provus will take on the role of advertising director, national -- and a strategic sales director position, which will be taken on by Daniel McIntyre.

GQ publisher Peter King Hunsinger promises the new positions will allow Monaghan, Provus and McIntyre to "deliver their unique expertise" in order to best serve the ad market. All three were promoted up the ranks through Conde Nast, GQ's parent company, Hunsinger boasted.

"Great companies are built from within, and we are pleased to had been able to promote from inside Conde Nast, and I'm confidant Brendan, Michael and Dan will continue to deliver results," he said.
