Longtime Gridskipper editor Chris Mohney, who once upon a time parlayed Gawkerist into an extended career at Gawker Media, is moving on. We just got word that Mohney has been hired by BlackBook magazine as the executive editor of blackbookmag.com and BlackBook Guides. His first day on the job will be next week and he'll be overseeing a site that has drastically upped their online content as of late.

As for Gridskipper, longtime contributor John Rambow will be taking over the reins. Mohney will continue to stay at Gridskipper as an editor at large.
