The Wall Street Journal's First Amendment lawyer of 16 years has been fired by one of Rupert Murdoch's new, handpicked executives. Stuart Karlewas let go by the paper. Karle will have to leave the paper before the end of March on orders of new Dow Jones chief counsel Mark Jackson. Jackson previously worked for Murdoch as associate chief counsel of HarperCollins.
