Thomas Publishing Folds Industrial Equipment News

ien03.27.09.pngIt’s Friday and we all know what that means: The weekend is mere hours away! Also, a magazine will probably die.

Today’s victim is the United States edition of Thomas Publishing Company LLC‘s Industrial Equipment News, your source for getting “A Closer Look at Product Technologies.”

Fortunately, the other versions around the world “covering the Pan-European, German, Italian, French, Turkish, Japanese and Brazilian markets, remain healthy and are unaffected by this decision.”

Release, jump. Go.

As a result of current economic conditions, Thomas Publishing Company LLC will discontinue publication of the United States edition of Industrial Equipment News (IEN) effective with the May 2009 issue.

Other editions of IEN around the world, including those covering the Pan-European, German, Italian, French, Turkish, Japanese and Brazilian markets, remain healthy and are unaffected by this decision.

We will continue to provide industrial product news to our B2B customers through other channels including online via ThomasNet’s Industrial NewsRoom. The Industrial NewsRoom covers the whole range of industrial products, from adhesives through welding equipment and supplies. With free services such as RSS feeds, the Industrial NewsRoom makes this valuable information readily available to the marketplace.
