Time Out Goes From London To New York To… Seattle?

Time Out doesn’t need your lousy print editions. Mixed Media breaks the news that the international city magazine chain is planning an ambitious expansion project in the United States. San Francisco investment bank Houlihan Lokey is planning to raise $40 million to $60 million for Time Out founder Tony Elliott.

Expansion mags are planned for the following cities:

  • Boston
  • Dallas
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle

The kicker? The new editions are initially planned to be web-only. Those waiting for a Time Out Washington or a Time Out Philadelphia are, alas, out of luck.
