Times Crossword Editor Will Shortz to Appear on ‘How I Met Your Mother’
New York Times crossword editor Will Shortz will appear in an upcoming episode of CBS sit-com “How I Met Your Mother,” FishbowlNY has learned.
Shortz will play himself in a show called “Robots vs. Wrestlers,” scheduled to air Monday May 17, confirms Lauren Kamm, the show’s studio publicist. In the show, Friedman will be attending a fancy party that the regular “How I Met Your Mother” cast crashes.
The editor, who recently appeared in our pages for touting the profitability of the Times.
