Time‘s Person of the Year Award

timgobama.jpgSo FBNY is off to the annual Time Person of the Year luncheon today, where a panel of distinguished guests including Elizabeth Edwards, Seth Meyers, Suze Orman, John Slattery (Roger Sterling!), and Brian Williams will discuss who most deserves to be named Person of the Year. I think we can all assume that ‘You’ will not be getting a second nod.

In fact, one imagines President-elect Barack Obama is such a shoo-in that we agree with Jeff Bercovici and think perhaps Time should develop a sort of second tier, runner-up category just to keep it interesting. If that were the case who would you suggest? Or are you content with Obama and the lack of suspense? We set up a poll after the jump, which includes some other obvious choices, or you can write in your own. Let us know what you think.
