Today In New York Anchor Out at 4 New York

6030986_240X180.jpgRob Morrison, the Today in New York anchor who’s whose headshot makes us squeal with glee (Brick, anyone?), did not have his contract renewed when it expired on May 31, Susan Kyel, director of media relations, confirmed to FishbowlNY.

Michael Gargiulo, formerly the co-anchor of News 4 New York at 5:00 p.m., has temporarily filled Morrison’s role.

UPDATE: After posting this item, FBNY became aware of new information regarding the status of Morrison’s contract. Unfortunately we have been unable to confirm these new details tonight, but we’ll continue to update this post tomorrow.
