Veteran Reporter Katherine Creag Joins WNBC

Reporter Katherine Creag, who left Fox 5/WNYW in October, has turned up on WNBC/Channel 4.

She started at Fox 5 in 2005.

Freelancing since January 17, Creag has mostly been seen on Today in New York and Weekend Today in New York.

“I love it. It’s great here,” Creag tells FishbowlNY. “I already knew a lot of the morning photographers and reporters because I had seen them out in the field, when I reported for Fox 5.”

This weekend, Creag gets additional exposure on The Debrief with David Ushery airing on WNBC and New York Nonstop.  

Creag, along with her Fox 5 stint, is familiar to New Yorkers from her days reporting on NY1.

“A good number of folks here are people I worked with at NY1 way back when,” Creag says. “It’s great to be at the station that I watched when I was a kid.”

An New York University graduate, Creag is an Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award winner.
