VH1 To Launch Book Imprint

VH1 — the network of the milquetoasty videos and I Love the ’80s fame — is launching a book imprint, VH1 Press, geared to “high-end pop-culture titles on iconic subjects.”

The first title, Edie Factory Girl, about the Warholian icon Edie Sedgwick, is set for November 2006, just in time for the feature film starring Sienna Miller. (Is everything in media set just in time for the release of the film version?)

Brooklyn’s PowerHouse Books is distributing.
